About Our Company

Fiveset Agro-business is a business registered under the Tanzania Laws in 2019.

We are a cashew farming and processing business focused on the production of high-quality cashews seedlings, commercial cultivation, agronomic training, and adding value to Cashew nuts in Tanzania. The Cashew nut industry in Tanzania still has a lot of wastage (apples and Cashew nut Shell Liquid).

The utilization of these would mean the inclusion of a lot more people (especially women) into economically viable activities. We want to provide a platform where people can increase their incomes by processing more of the cashew products that are now being wasted. In addition, through the provision of high-quality, seedlings we are hoping to reclaim more land and fight desertification as cashew nut trees contribute to; carbon sequestration and reduction of greenhouse gas.

To provide a platform for cashew nut farmers in the whole value chain from production of high-quality cashew seedlings to adding commercial value to the cashew nuts and cashew by-products (wine and butter) for the domestic and international market as well as reclamation of land which would otherwise not be agriculturally productive.
